Daniel Bankolé

After graduating high school in 2006, Daniel Bankolé started attending university in Paris. Ultimately he wanted a degree from a business school, but that year he failed BIG !
It was impossible for him to attend the university, something, or rather Someone was telling him that it wasn't the right path for him.
That year he had plenty of time to think about his situation. He ended up thinking "you know what there is an actor in my family, I could try to walk in his footsteps and see if I like it!" He went to Eva Saint Paul's School of Dramatic Art in Paris, France for five years, not fully aware that he had found a purpose.
He enjoyed using his gifts and talent at his church, where he felt pushed to put on plays, scenes and even a cantata about the life of Jesus (Life on Earth, John Featherstone).
"It's fascinating to dive into the different aspects of the life of a character, his mind and his soul. Why does the character end up doing this or that, whether it's good or even very bad is a process that I enjoy exploring."
After being on stage at the Avignon Festival, on tour in France and Germany for a play written by Jean-Paul Sartre, Daniel Bankolé had the privilege to be the lead actor for a short movie written and directed by Samantha White and to star in Simon's got a Gift, a feature film directed by Léo Karmann.
Daniel's recent work includes a leading role in the series "Apocalypse", written and directed by Hervé N'Kashama.
He now lives in Los Angeles, California.
"I aspire to create art of inspirational, emotive and edifying quality through the art of storytelling.
As an actor, I believe words and ideas can change the world. Through my art I have the power to move people, to make them laugh, cry and think."
